John F. Walter, 66, of Emmaus, died March 20, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ralph L. and Ann M. (Coplak) Walter.

He was an electrician, working in the family business.

He is survived by sons, Phillip and his wife Denise, Andrew and his wife Victoria, and J. Kyle; brother, Ralph L. Jr.; sisters, Polly A. Ziegler, Roxanne and her husband Jerry Fillman and Chris Ann Hamm and companion Richard Brinker; grandchildren, Bryce, Jorda, Channing, Evelyn and Nicholas.

Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 501 N. 17th St., Allentown, 18104.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
