Henry W. Diemand, 85, of Macungie, died March 21, 2018. He was the husband of Mary (Cole) Diemand. Born in Bechtelsville, he was he son of the late Lloyd K. and Eva (Herb) Diemand.

He was a 1951 graduate of Boyertown High School.

He worked for Roadway Express as a dispatcher for 29 years, retiring in 1988.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bechtelsville, Boyertown American Legion, where he volunteered for baseball, lifetime member of Friendship Hook and Ladder, Boyertown and Bechtelsville Fire Company.

He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife; son, Marc, of East Greenville; daughter, Sheila and her husband Mark Cavallaro, of Matamoras; sister, Patricia and her husband Rodney Stahl; grandsons, Brandan and Mark. He was predeceased by siblings, Joyce, Hope, Anna and Malcolm.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
