Joyce M. Frey, 85, of Allentown, died March 25, 2018, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Robert H. Frey.

Born Dec. 20, 1932, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Curtis D. and Margaret L. (Koch) Heffner.

She was employed at the former Penn State Mills, Allentown, for 27 years before the company closed in 1984.

She was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown.

Her survivors include a son Scott R. Frey and his wife, Bonnie, of Oswego, N.Y.; siblings Bonnie E. White of Allentown, Richard C. Heffner and his wife, Joan, of Palmyra, Robert F. Heffner and his wife, Janet, of Allentown, Donald S. Heffner of Allentown; grandson Joshua S. Frey of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister Diane M. Adams.

A private funeral service will be held in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Schnecksville.

Interment will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery, South Whitehall.
