Walter L. Schlaner, 87, of Limeport, died in his home March 15, 2018. He was the husband of the late Veronica (Thomas) Schlaner. Born in Limeport, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Drauch) Schlaner.

He served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Coopersburg.

He was a machine operator at Pillsbury Co. for 35 years until retiring.

He is survived by a daughter, Rosemary; sons, Stephen (Alice), Joseph (Sandra), Andrew (Kari); brother, Ervin; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
