Mamie Dorward, 97, of Macungie, formerly of Allentown, died March 8, 2018, at The Willow in Macungie. She was the wife of the late Elwood N. Dorward. Born in Roseto, she was the daughter of the late Rocco Vietro and Mary A. (Denicola) Vietro Messina.

She worked at the former Western Electric until retiring.

She is survived by children, James and his wife Denise, David and his wife Debra, Linda and her husband Scott Mitchell and Donald and his wife Mary; sisters, Carmela Claroni and Dolores and her husband John Novak; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
