David J. Frey, 71, of Alburtis, died March 11, 2018. He was the husband of Carol A. (Rank) Frey. They were married for 46 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harold and Bertha (Berghold) Frey.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was employed at Mack Trucks for 15 years before retiring.

He enjoyed buying and selling antiques.

He was a kind and caring person who would help anyone who needed help.

He is survived by his wife; children, David Jr., of Alburtis and daughter, Alison, of Alburtis; brother, F. Harold, of Bethlehem, and sister, Joanne Bartholomew, of Danielsville. He was predeceased by a sister, Cynthia Bowers.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
