Shirley Ann Heimberger, 83, died March 4, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late George F. Heimberger. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Naomi (Erb) Hoffman.

She was a member of Zionsville Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She was a graduate of Allen High School and held a degree in early childhood education, volunteering at many programs for disadvantaged children.

She was a member of Daughters of the American Colonist, Schwenkfeldian Exile Society and was accomplished at writing poetry.

She is survived by a son, Mark A.; grandchildren, Kristie Lee and Kaylee Lynn Heimberger and Michelle Ward; nieces and nephews; feline companions, Tobias and Sebastian. She was predeceased by sons, Kurt and David.
