Larry M. Heinly, 73, of Smith Mountain Lake, Va., formerly of Emmaus, died March 7, 2018. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Bernecker) Heinly. They were married for 53 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Mosby H. and Elizabeth A. (Semmel) Heinly.

He worked as a production manager for Colebrook Farms, a sales representative for Preston Trucking and national account representative for Estee’s Express.

He honorably served his country in the Army during Vietnam.

He was a former member of the Emmaus Lions Club and a member of the board of directors and secretary for Lehman Lake Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Amber E. and her husband Greg Johnson, of Smith Mountain Lake, Va.; sister, Sandra A. Bartholomew, of Allentown; grandsons, Owen T. and Henry E. Sosnoski; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Ellen M. Sosnoski.
