Dorothy J. Bretz, 86, of New Tripoli, formerly of Allentown, died March 9, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Ray M. Bretz who died in 2003.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Glennon Sr. and Anna (Gross) Becker.

She was a pocket setter at Emmaus Manufacturing.

She attended Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Western Salisbury Church, Allentown, and enjoyed attending Schnecksville Senior Citizens.

Her survivors include a son, Jason R. and wife, Judy, of East Penn Township; granddaughter Jillian; great-granddaughter Lindsey; sisters RuthAnn Parker of Whitehall, Carol Herman of Northampton and Nancy Kohler of Bangor; brothers Glennon Jr. of Coplay, Larry of Bath and Robert of Northampton; nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. March 15 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton.

Call, 1-2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Interment will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Airport Road, Hanover Township.
