Allen/East Allen townships: Breakfast to be served at Lappawinzo

Lappawinzo Fish & Game, 25 Lappawinzo Road, will hold a breakfast 8 a.m.-noon March 18. The event is open to the public. There is a cost.

East Allen Township’s egg hunt will be held 1 p.m. March 24 at Bicentennial Park East.

Rain date is March 25.

The event will be divided into the following age groups: ages 1 and 2; ages 3 and 4; ages 5 to 7; and ages 8 to 10.

East Allen Township Recreation Department is accepting registrations for its 2018 spring sports programs at the municipal building, 5344 Nor-Bath Blvd. Hours are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

T-ball and baseball are available for boys ages 5 to 14. All baseball teams will participate in the NAA House League/Parkland Youth League.

Soccer is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 16. All soccer teams will participate in the Northern Valley Youth Soccer League.

Coaches and their assistants provide the township with both an ACT 34 clearance by Pennsylvania State Police and a state child abuse history clearance.

Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, will hold a tavern night April 13 on the society’s campus.

Pawnshop Bound, featuring Rick Young, will perform.

There will be tastings by Sleepy Cat Winery.

The tavern night is BYOB, with free light snacks and soft drinks, great bands, dancing and spirit and wine tastings. Hours are 7-10 p.m. Doors open 6:30 p.m. for tables.

A $10 donation is requested, and attendees must be 21.
