Willard A. Mantz, 89, of Laurys Station, and Schnecksville, died Feb. 27, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and his wife Aldine A. (Hoffman) Angstadt-Mantz were married April 27, 1985.
He was also the husband of the late Ruth (Ramaly) Mantz, who died in 1976.
Born in Laurys Station, he was a son of the late Albert and Mary (Confer) Mantz.
A miller and line worker for ConAgra Flour Mill, North Whitehall Township, more than 50 years, he retired in 1995.
He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Trexlertown.
A 1946 graduate of Parkland High School, he served in the Army during the Korea Conflict era, achieving the rank of private first class T.
He enjoyed woodworking.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Diane D. Buchert of Pottstown, Ilean S., wife of Randall Ruhe, of New Tripoli; sons Nelson and wife, Debra Angstadt, of Kutztown, Glenn and wife, Judith Angstadt, of Allentown; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters Edith and Helen; and brothers Curtis and Warren.
He was predeceased by a son, Kevin Angstadt, in 1983.
