Phyllis Tarricone

Phyllis Tarricone, 69, of Palmer Township, died Feb. 27, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township.

She and her husband, Christopher C. Tarricone, celebrated their 47th anniversary.

Born in Rochester N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Indiano) Aloisio.

An accountant for 45 years, she was previously employed by Herder-Tarricone Associates.

Affiliated with St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, she was devoted to her children and grandchildren and was affectionately called “Mama.”

She loved to travel, especially for the annual family vacation to Cape Cod and cruises to the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

A member of the Jersey Shore Theatre Club, she enjoyed attending New York City shows with her friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Lisa Schultz and husband, Michael, of Slatington; son Christopher and wife, Kelly (Colvin) of Frisco Texas; grandchildren Emma, Nathan and Sophia Schultz, Henley, Kennedy and Calum Tarricone; and a brother Joseph of Georgia.

She was predeceased by sister, Anne Pullara.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. March 2 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield.

Call 10 a.m. until Mass, and 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph the Worker Church.

Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Huntington Disease Society of America or to St. Joseph the Worker School, 1858 Applewood Drive, Orefield PA 18069.
