David G. Christman, 75, of Shinglehouse, Potter County, formerly of Slatington, died Feb. 19, 2018, at the home of his son, Scott, in Germansville.

Born May 3, 1942, in Allentown, he was the son of the late George A. and Miriam A. (Bachman) Christman.

A truck driver for Roadway Express for 37 years, he retired in 2000.

He was a member of the Diamond Fire Co. No. 1, Goodwill Fire Company Germansville, Lynnport Fire Company and Emerald Fire Company.

His survivors include a daughter Wanda L. Geist (Mark) of Kempton; son Scott D. (Rita) of Germansville; sisters Doris E. Kull (Charles) of Mount Bethel, Janet M. Engler (Stanley) of Florida; grandsons Brian Geist (Jessica), Christopher Geist (Monica); and great-granddaughters Madelynn and Lacey Geist.

He was predeceased by a brother, Robert.
