Philip M. Buss, 81, of Macungie, died Feb. 5, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of the late Claire J. Buss. Born in Shimerville, he was the son of the late Robert and Ella (Krammes) Buss.

He was an entrepreneur, builder, developer and owned a water company.

He was a life member and past president of the Lehigh Valley Builders Association.

He is survived by a daughter, Laurie Tirtanadi, of Harrisburg; sons, Alan K. and his wife Linette, of Emmaus, Gary L. and his wife Sharon, of Milford, Del.; sister, Mary Beishline, of Northampton; grandchildren, Katie, Adrian, Jill, Nicole, Shaun, Sydney and Garrett.
