Aaron J. Oleksa, 34, of Macungie, died Dec. 16, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, after a long illness. He was a resident of Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Center, Bethlehem, for the past three years. He was the son of Brenda and Joel Oleksa, of Summerfield, Fla.

He was a 2001 graduate of Emmaus High School and a 2007 graduate of Penn State University.

He had a passion for film and video. He frequently visited Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays and greatly enjoyed the sport.

He is survived by his parents; sister, Elizabeth and beloved nephew Logan, both of Macungie.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:30 a.m. June 9 until evening at Macungie Memorial Park, Oberholtzer Pavilion. Upon his request, please wear your most festive Hawaiian shirt and bring your favorite dish to share.
