Robert A. Krause, 90, of Allentown, died Feb. 13, 2018, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown.

He was the husband of the late Doris M. (Litzenberger) Krause.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Wilson and Mary Catherine (Bird) Krause.

He was a member of Cedar Lutheran Church, Cetronia.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was the manager for Suburban Market, Dorneyville, until he retired.

Co-founder of South Parkland Youth Association, for which he coached football, basketball and baseball, he had many championship teams with two undefeated and unscored against football teams.

His survivors include sons Allen and his wife, Suzie, of Allentown, Jeffrey of Tucson, Ariz.; daughters Kathy Walck of Bethlehem and Becky Krause and partner, Jackie Wilson, of Bethlehem; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be private. Contributions may be made to the church, 3419 Broadway, Allentown PA 18104.
