Pearl F. Muthard, 94, of Schnecksville, formerly of Germansville, died Feb. 13, 2018, in her home.

She was the wife of the late Ralph Woodrow Muthard.

Born July 10, 1923, in Heidelberg Township, she was the daughter of the late Franklin D. and Louisa I. (DeLong) Handwerk.

A food service worker in the cafeteria of Northwestern Lehigh High School for 25 years, she retired in 1994.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township, where she formerly served as a sexton.

Her survivors include children Richard R. Muthard (Judy) of Northampton, Douglass D. Muthard of Slatington, Kirk E. Muthard (Barbara) of Germansville, Linda L. Chalmers of Fort Mill, S.C.; sister Jean I. Geiger of Schnecksville; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; three step- grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brothers David and Charles Handwerk.
