Carlene A. Thompson, 68, of Macungie, died Feb. 1, 2018, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Richard J. Thompson. They celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary in April, 2017. She was a daughter of the late Carl and Elouise (Reddish) Hopkins.

She was a graduate of South Broward High School and Broward Community College.

She worked as a registered nurse with Advantage Home Care.

She is survived by her husband; daughters Suzanne C. and her husband Gregory Reilly, of Palm City, Fla., Valerie A. Hedman, of Ft. Myers, Fla., Angela N. and her husband Christopher Himmelwright, of Breinigsville; stepson, Frederick W. Thompson and his wife Patty, of Tallahassee, Fla.; grandchildren, Zachary, Emily, Cody, Abigail, Teal, Fred Jr.; great-grandson, Brendan; two sisters. She was predeceased by a brother.

Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
