Alyssa Konsko of Orefield was a member of a student team, from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Mass., that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project in Panama City, Panama.
The project was titled Sustainable Design Solutions for Batipa Field Institute.
In the project summary, the students wrote, “The goal of this project was to propose designs for sustainable energy and resource utilization for implementation at the institute.”
Konsko, a member of the class of 2019, is majoring in architectural engineering.
She was also named to the university’s dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2017 semester.
