Edward D. Wagner, 83, of Claussville, died Jan. 19, 2018.

He was the beloved husband of Jean (Kern) Wagner for 53 years.

Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Edward and Evelyn (Herbst) Wagner.

Before retiring as a carpenter all his life, he was employed by Russel Haas and Carl Schock Contracting and lastly for Allen Organ.

He was a quiet man and a hard worker, who enjoyed trapping, fishing, hunting, gardening and taking care of his lawn.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Duane Huffort, husband of the late Jean, of Lynnport, Kenneth Huffort and his wife, Susan, of Germansville; brother Robert and his wife, Linda, of Seipstown; sisters Janice Wagner of Allentown, Evelyn Schock and her husband, Carl, of New Tripoli, Shirley Billig and her husband, Sterling, of Allentown; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by sisters Lois and Betty.
