Gary R. Wertman, 48, of Allentown, died Jan. 10, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Lawrence Jr. and Shirley (Brandis) Wertman.

He owned the former Gary R. Wertman Fueling, Allentown, for 25 years.

He was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church, Orefield.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Michael and wife, Susan of Allentown; sister Michele Wagaman and husband, Dean, of Walnutport; and nieces and nephews Siobhan Elison and husband, Matt, Stephen Stern and wife, Sarah, Rachel Wagaman, Julie Williams and husband, Justin, and Aaron and Nicholas Wertman.
