Evelyn A. Snyder, 95, formerly of Schnecksville, died Jan. 14, 2018, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Marvin G. Snyder.

Born Nov. 26, 1922, in Washington Township, she was the daughter of the late Elmer H. and Ida A. (German) Roth.

She was a sewing machine operator at the former Ambro Fashions, Neffs, for 10 years before retiring in 1978.

A member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township, she was a former member of Schnecksville Senior Citizens and H.A.R.P.

Her survivors include a son Melvin M. Snyder and his companion, Arlene E. Rex, of Germansville; daughter Carol A. Buddock of Allentown; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by siblings Clarence, Kermit, James and Elwood Roth, Pauline Hoffman, Ruth Gehringer, Marie Scheffler and Beatrice Snyder.
