Esther M. Richards, 87, of Cedar View Apartments, South Whitehall, died Dec. 31, 2017.

She was the wife of the late George A. Richards.

A nurse’s aide before retiring in 1990, she enjoyed singing, knitting and volunteering.

She was a member of Christ Evangelical Congregational Church, Allentown.

Her survivors include a son Joseph of Bethlehem; daughter Barbara Hahn and husband, Gary, of Allentown; grandchildren Andrew and Katie Hahn; great-granddaughter Natalya; sisters Jeanne Stephens and Barbara Grupe; and brother, James Schrayer.

She was predeceased by her brother David Schrayer.

Her services will be 11:30 a.m. Jan. 4 in the church.
