Nicholas A. Sarnicky

Nicholas A. Sarnicky, 23, of Greenawalds, South Whitehall Township, died Dec. 10, 2017, in Los Angeles, Calif.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of John D. Jr. and Rebecca L. (Petrisky) Sarnicky.

A student at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, Schnecksville, he was pursuing a certificate in electrical and residential wiring.

He was a loving son, grandson, brother and boyfriend who brought joy and happiness to his friends and family.

A talented musician, he loved to play guitar and write his own songs, making many people smile with his music.

He wrestled and played baseball and basketball in youth leagues as he was growing up.

He both provided and received support from his fellow rehab alumni who were an important part of his journey through life.

A caring and promising young man, his life was taken too soon. He will be forever missed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Jacob J; sister Alexandra L; paternal grandmother Carolyn Sarnicky; maternal grandmother Patricia Petrisky; uncles Jeffrey Sarnicky, Stephen and Richard Petrisky; aunts Christine Sarnicky, Sherri Petrisky Clark; cousins Talmadge Clark, Cassandra and Nolan Sarnicky; and girlfriend Giana Raheb.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather John D. Sarnicky Sr. and maternal grandfather Philip Petrisky.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements were made by Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown.
