Irene M. Dietrich, 89, formerly of New Tripoli and Kempton, died Dec. 12, 2017, in Cornerstone Living, New Tripoli.

Born in Lynn Township, she was a daughter of the late Francis A. and Elsie M. (Howerter) Hamm.

She and her late husband, Ethan O. Dietrich, were married 64 years at the time of his death in 2010.

A member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Stony Run, she was also a member of Union Fire Company No. 1 Beneficial Association. Hamburg.

Her survivors include a daughter Betty Ann Davis of New Tripoli and her companion, Chester Hartranft; grandchildren Richard, Michael, and Peter Davis; and great-grandchildren Myles, Maggie, Mikayla, Marissa, Marshall and Mason Davis.

She was predeceased by a brother Ralph F. and a sister Eva M. Chroust.
