Marc Tobash
Marc Tobash, 28, died unexpectedly Dec. 14, 2017, in Lehigh County.
Born Dec. 19, 1988, in Allentown, he was the son of Dennis G. and Lisa A. Tobash of Orefield.
A 2007 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, he was never one to enjoy academia.
He went on to attend the Welder Training and Testing Institute, Allentown.
Upon completing his training, he quickly entered the workforce as a shop floor welder.
Career driven and very hard working, his drive and dedication allowed him to excel in the construction field by taking on more responsibilities and duties with each opportunity.
Most recently, he was the superintendent leading a bridge construction team for the H&K Group.
Regardless of how focused he was on his career, he never lost sight of what is most important in his life - his family and friends.
Remembered for his uncanny wit and sense of humor, he preferred bear hugs to handshakes and met every day with a glass half-full mentality.
It was very difficult not to smile, laugh or have fun around him but that was not because he enjoyed being the center of attention, it’s because he cared.
He had a heart of gold and genuinely cared about how friends and family around him were feeling.
Always generous and protective, he never hesitated to lift others up or lend a hand.
He would take a stand for things he believed in, even if he stood alone.
He filled the roles of son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend the best way he knew.
This was uniquely him but at its core it was loving and caring.
He has left an indelible mark on the heart and soul of his family and friends and will be forever missed.
A member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, he was a second degree member of Knights of Columbus, Council 10921.
In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by brothers Dennis T. and his wife, Kristen, of Walnutport, Jeffrey N. of Orefield; maternal grandfather James F. Heffron of Orwigsburg; niece Addison; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by a maternal grandmother, Lois Heffron and paternal grandparents, Peter and Shirley Tobash.
