Theresa C. Jacobs, 80, from Orefield, died on Dec. 7, 2017, in Westminster Village, Allentown.

She was predeceased by her partner Margie K. Smith.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Dorothy (Stichler) Jacobs.

Passionate about teaching, she was a graduate of Ursinus College.

She taught human biology and physical education for many years in a variety of schools, retiring from the Northern Lehigh School District.

She coached many high school girls basketball and softball teams.

An avid sports enthusiast, she along with her family, was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan.

She enjoyed music and traveling.

Her survivors include her brother Phil and his wife, Stella Jacobs, of Binghamton, N.Y.; many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and two god-daughters.
