MaryJane C. Hittner, 84, of Palmerton, Forest Inn, died peacefully Dec 6, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown.
She was the wife of the late Luther C. Hittner who died in 2006.
Born in Egypt, Whitehall Township, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Edna (DeLong) Bernhard.
A bookkeeper for Capital Bakers, she later was a waitress for the former Wotrings Reception Hall, Schnecksville.
She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Towamensing, Palmerton.
She was a member of the Neffs Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary, a former Girl Scout Leader, and a member of the Kibler One Room School House Association, Beltzville.
Her survivors include daughters Marie, wife of Larry Hahn of Palmerton, Linda, wife of Arthur Fenstermaker Jr. of Florida, Nancy, wife of Robert Thompson of Lehighton, Ruthann, wife of Greg Fleming of Arizona; son Luke and wife Suzanne of Northampton; grandchildren Melissa, Kristin, Bryon, Robbie, Ashley, Sean, Erin and Shane; great-grandchildren Charlotte, Alexander and Trinity; brother-in-law Carl and wife, Jane Hittner of Allentown; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters and grandson, Corey.
