Whitehall-Coplay School Board held its reorganization meeting Dec. 5 to introduce its newest members: Joseph Shields, William Fonzone Sr. and George Williams.

Wayne Grim will remain the board’s president.

Tina Koren will assume the role of vice president, after a nomination from Bill Leiner.

Both were appointed after a unanimous vote.

In the upcoming weeks, the board will look to reorganize its committees and add the new members.

Leiner, board treasurer, complimented other members of the board on how smoothly the first half of the school year has gone, and board member Arthur Taschler Jr. shared excitement on working with the new electees.

The school board will have its regular monthly meeting 7 p.m. Dec. 11, followed by committee meetings 4 p.m. Dec. 18.
