Parkland High school graduate Richard Joseph “Joey” Fay was recently honored by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a recipient of the 2017 Veteran of Influence Award at an award ceremony held at the ballroom in the Ben Franklin Building in Philadelphia.
Fay, a 1998 Parkland graduate, also graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy.
He received his Master of Business Administration degree from Penn State.
A major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, Fay served in Fallujah during the Iraq War.
Fay is working as a project manager at CBRE, formerly CB Richard Ellis, a commercial real state service.
An active member of his community, Fay is a member of the Travis Manion Foundation, which works to empower veterans and families of fallen heroes.
His parent’s are Douglas R. and ToniLynn Fay of South Whitehall Township.
