Daniel P. Grim, 44, of Allentown, died suddenly Nov. 18, 2017, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.
He and his wife Amanda K. (Biggs) Grim were married 19 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Thomas and Ruth (Reitz) Grim of Whitehall.
A 1991 graduate of Whitehall High School, he was an outstanding track athlete there,
He attended Mansfield University and was a 1996 graduate of Bloomsburg University.
He worked at Lehigh Valley Health Network, most recently as a Medicare billing specialist, and earlier for The Hartford.
A former member of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown, he was very dedicated in the activities of his son Gavin, especially at SJVRS.
He was director of advancement for Boy Scout Troop 5, a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and enjoyed camping.
In addition to his wife, son and parents, he is survived by a brother Andrew, his wife Stacy and their children Madelyn and Braden of South Whitehall; sister Amy Rice and husband, Donald, of Bethlehem; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
