Mary G. Christ, 86, formerly of New Tripoli, died on Nov. 17, 2017, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall.

She was the wife of the late Robert B. Christ who died in 1980.

Born May 18, 1931, in Mauch Chunk, Carbon County, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Hannah (Herman) McGorry.

A graduate of the Allentown Central Catholic High School, she worked for the Allentown Credit Bureau before her marriage.

She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

Her survivors include children Diana, Linda and Donald all of New Tripoli; and nephew John Gardner of Allentown.

Her service will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
