Stephen D. Rhoades, 49, of South Whitehall, died Nov. 1, 2017, in his home.
Born in Upper Darby, he was the son of Catherine C. (Breslin) Rhoades of South Whitehall and the late Walter J. Rhoades.
He was a member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.
He earned his Eagle Scout award and was captain of the Parkland High School Debate Team which won the state title.
He graduated Juris Prudence from Widener School of Law, and earned his under-graduate degree from Bucknell University.
A Pennsylvania attorney and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, he enjoyed music and spending time fishing with his sons.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by sons, Matthew Stephen and Michael Walter; brothers Walter J. Jr. and wife, Tracey, and their daughter Grace, and David S.
