Dorothy H. Miller, 96, of Whitehall, died peacefully Oct. 28, 2017, at the home of her daughter.

She and her husband Richard S. Miller were married 40 years at the time of his death in 2000.

Born in Port Talbot, South Wales, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Sushanna (Thomas) House.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Allentown.

She was a longtime registered nurse and supervisor at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, Allentown, until retiring.

Her survivors include daughters Jane L. Miller of Whitehall, and Connie L., wife of Michael G. Gasper, of Danielsville; grandchildren Theresa Hawkins, Karl and Danielle Leggett, Brittany and Brooke Gasper, Xena Leggett; five great-grandchildren; and niece Susan Hafner.

She was predeceased by son Robert C. Leggett in 2016 and sister Dyfri Hafner.
