Wilkes Univ.

Wilkes University held its summer commencement ceremony Sept. 10 in the Henry Gymnasium of the Arnaud C. Marts Sports and Conference Center, Wilkes-Barre.

The University awarded 403 doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s degrees to students graduating after the completion of the summer 2017 semester.

The following students received a Master of Science degree in education.

Allentown: Dawn Burke, Katherine Cameron and John Greth; and

Schnecksville: Eric Zuber.

In addition, the following students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester

To be named to the dean’s list, students must obtain a minimum 3.4 grade point average and carry at least 12 credits.

Allentown: Myrasia Flores, Vincent Patriarco, Jessica Snyder;

Kempton: Abigail Sanders;

Laurys Station: Jonathan Vasilik;

Orefield: Harrison Eckert, Brandon Gerhat; and

Schnecksville: Marissa Oertner.
