Reuel G.C. Oswald, 88, of Trexlertown, died Oct. 6, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife Marjorie (Hartman) Oswald were married 63 years in January.

Born in Berks County he was a son of the late Reuel S. and Estella T. (Moyer) Oswald.

A payload operator for 45 years for Eastern Industries, Kutztown, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Karen Haines of Macungie; son Michael of Trexlertown; sister Malvene Hersh of Topton; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Terry, and brothers, Eugene and Norman.
