Michael A. Moll Sr., 69, of South Whitehall Township, died Oct. 16, 2017, in Hospice House of the VNA.
He and his wife Patricia A. (Myers) celebrated more than 50 years of marriage last December.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edwin and Irene (Maron) Moll.
After retiring as a truck driver for nine years from Distribution Technology, he remained semiretired and worked for Hunter the last four years.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Allentown.
As an accomplished trombone player and tutor, he played for various bands, and years ago had his own band, “Luv-N-Touch.”
Throughout his music career, he recorded many albums.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Michael A. Jr. and his wife, Sherry, of Easton, Matthew A., of Colorado; daughter Nancy A. Moll of Palmerton; brother David and his wife, Joanne, of Macungie; sister Barbara A. Kennedy of Northampton; grandchildren Michael III., Eric, Kayla, Cassandra and Briana; and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Oct. 19, St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1046 W. Cedar St., Allentown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
