Mary E. Schmidt, 74, of Upper Macungie Township, died Oct. 10, 2017, in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Mary E. (Steidinger) Bill.

A food service manager for the Allentown School District for 25 years until retiring, she was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Trexlertown.

Her survivors include partner Janis Erney; sons Doug Schmidt and his wife, Ginger, and their children, Dayne and Drayce, and Devin Schmidt and his wife, Heather, and their children, Olivia and Greyson; stepdaughter Kim Schmidt; and sister Nancylou Dunbar.
