Charles B. Harding, 85, of Allentown, died Sept. 27, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was the son of the late Charles Fredrick and Lurena (Moody) Harding.
He and his wife Barbara Ann (McDonnell) were married 65 years.
He served in the Korean War as an Army sergeant first class in the 7th Calvary.
An operating engineer and member of the International Union of Operating Engineers 825 for many years, he was also a member of Ocean Grove Auditorium Ushers Association in New Jersey, section leader for more than 25 years and an avid outdoors man.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Ann and husband Al Gantz of Florida and Susan and husband, Richard Smith, of Huntingdon Valley, and son Charles Harding DMD and wife, Esther, of Schnecksville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and sister Shirley Wilson.
