Paul H. Schmeltzle, 77, of Allentown, died Oct. 5, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and his wife Marguerite E. (Engle) Schmeltzle were married 37 years in June.
The son of the late Henry and Sallie (Miller) Schmeltzle, he worked at Greenwood Cemetery and Crematorium for almost 56 years before retiring in 2011.
He honorably served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and snow plowing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Lori Luckenbill and husband, Richard, of Bowers and Sharon Daugherty and husband, Ken, of Strattanville; son Jeffrey Adam and wife, Gladys, of Lenhartsville; brother, Robert and wife, Darlene, of Zionsville; sister Mary Jane Rodenbach of Emmaus; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters Minnie Geist and Pauline Koach.
