Mary J. Bruno, 94, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 3, 2017. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Bertha (Baran) Sorokas. She was the wife of the late George F. Bruno.

She was a bookkeeper at Conestoga Company for 20 years until she retired in 1978.

She was a former member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church and was more recently a parishioner of St. Ursula Catholic Church.

She was a member of the National Sokols Wreath 66. She was a past president of the Fountain Hill American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by a sister, Rose H. and her husband Albert Spirk of Lenhartsville; and several nieces and nephews.
