Liberty sophomore Belle Weikert repeated with a first place finish during the Hurricanes’ cross country meet against Parkland, Allen, and Dieruff last week.
Weikert’s time was 21:04. Liberty’s Grace Haas placed seventh with a time of 22:04.
Freedom’s Lauren Charboneau came in eighth with a time of 22:23, and Becahi’s Lauren Bunke was ninth with a time of 22:35.
Hannah Graybeal placed 11th with a time of 23:16, Madison Drager placed 12th with a time of 23:46, and Greta Stuckey was 13th with a time of 23:46, all from Liberty.
In girls’ team results, Parkland defeated Becahi 15-49, Freedom 15-49, and Liberty 20-38.
Allen and Dieruff’s girls forfeited to Becahi, Freedom, and Liberty because of incomplete teams.
In the boys’ race, Liberty’s Darlyn Fermin came in third with a time of 18:17.
Freedom’s Kevin Pollock placed 12th with a time of 19:11.
Liberty’s Paul Jensen placed 13th with a time of 19:12, and Ryan Wycherley was 15th with a time of 19:23.
In boys’ team results, Parkland defeated Becahi and Freedom 15-50, and Parkland defeated Liberty 18-45.
Freedom defeated Allen 19-42, and Liberty also defeated Allen 18-45, but Becahi lost to Allen 27-29.
Freedom defeated Dieruff 16-46, and Liberty defeated Dieruff 15-49, but Becahi lost to Dieruff 28-29.
