Elizabeth A. Freas, 88, of Orefield, died on Sept. 16, 2017, in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.

She was the widow of Charles M. Freas.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Mabel (Kriner) Sherer.

A graduate of Moravian College, Bethlehem, she was a teacher for 23 years in the Parkland School District at Fogelsville Elementary School.

She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall.

Her survivors include sons Thomas C. of Orefield, David A. and wife, Debra, of Wescosville, and Roderick P. of Whitehall; daughter Linda A. Wisser and husband, Richard, of Orefield; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Sherer.

Services will be private. Interment at Jordan United Church of Christ Cemetery.
