Albert R. “Phil” Raubenhold, 87, of Allentown, died Sept. 18, 2017 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.
He and his wife Shirley E. (Barto) Raubenhold celebrated 62 years of marriage last Nov. 6.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Howard G. and Sue (Lindenmuth) Raubenhold.
An electrician for IBEW Local 375 for many years, he retired in 1995.
He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Ziegels Church and the former St. James Lutheran Church, Allentown.
He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War.
A member of Porter-Chapman Lodge 284 F&AM, he was a former member of Greenawalds Fire Company, South Whitehall.
During the 1960s he was a member of Emmaus Sentinels Drum and Bugle Corps and remained a lifelong fan of all drum and bugle corps.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Scott A. and wife, Regina; daughter Ann S. Raubenhold; sister-in-law Jean Raubenhold; and granddaughters Lauren and Christina.
He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Sept. 22 at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville. Visitation begins at 10 a.m.
