State Representative Daniel T. McNeill died Sept. 8, 2017. He was the husband of Jeanne (Mudri) McNeill for 32 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Kathleen, of Bethlehem, Shannon, of North Catasauqua and Heather Childress, of Allentown; a granddaughter, MacKenzie; a god-son, Van Scott and his husband Bill Clegg, of New York; along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Isabelle (Isaac) McNeill.

His viewing will be 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 13; visitation with his family will be held 10 to 10:45 a.m., followed by services 11 a.m., both Sept. 14; all in the Gathering Place of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, Whitehall. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall.

Contributions/donations may be made toward the education fund established for his granddaughter “Kenzie.” Checks may be made payable to Jeanne McNeill and mailed to 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, 18052.
