Sharlet M. Eder, 81, of Schnecksville, died on Sept. 10, 2017, in her home.

She and her husband Joseph J. Eder were married 51 years.

Born March 19, 1936, in Houcktown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Howard C. and Mary C. (Compton) Cook.

Having a profound love of animals, she formerly volunteered at the Bunker Hill Beagle Club, Walnutport.

In addition to her loving husband, Joseph, she is survived by a brother, Clair H. Cook of Fostoria, Ohio; and sister-in-law Barbara A. Turner of Schnecksville.

She was predeceased by siblings Gerald, Jeanette and Roland.
