Robert J. Laudenslager, 69, from Schnecksville, died Aug. 20, 2017, in his home.

He was the husband of the late Karen Lynn (Kram) Laudenslager.

Born Nov. 17, 1947, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harold and Kathryn (Kaufman) Laudenslager.

A 1970 graduate of Kutztown University, he earned a Master’s degree in education from Lehigh University,

He served as the principal of Union Terrace Elementary School, Allentown, for 32 years before retiring in 2003.

During his tenure, he was a junior soccer coach.

His hobbies included being an avid golfer, college wrestling enthusiast, having a love for photography and being a member of the Schoolman’s Club.

He was a very proud grandfather of two boys.

His survivors include a daughter Kristin L. Andersen and her husband, Martin; and grandsons Marcus and Emil.
