Betty A. Gruber, 85, formerly of Slatington, died Sept. 8, 2017, in Whitehall Manor.
She was the wife of the late Harold E. Gruber.
Born Sept. 20, 1931, in Fogelsville, she was the daughter of the late Levi B. and Ida M. (Scherer) Peters.
She was a bus aide for 15 years with Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21 before retiring earlier this year.
Before that, she was a folder at the former Paris Neckwear, Walnutport.
She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fogelsville.
Her survivors include children, Rickey P. of Walnutport, Robin F. Blose and her husband, Dennis, of Slatington, Ryan L. and his wife, Donna, of Schnecksville; siblings Frederick F. Peters of Whitehall, Carolyn M. Dorney of Orefield, Edna G. Diehl of Macungie, Levi B. Peters Jr. of Orefield, Katherine W. Frey of Whitehall, Maryann M. Mains of Allentown, James A. Peters of Emmaus, Sherman R. Peters of Germansville; and granddaughter Kelly L. Gruber of Schnecksville.
She was predeceased by a brother, Paul J. Peters Sr. and a sister Pauline M. Trumbauer.
