Beth Ann Adams, 48, of Wynnewood, died Sept. 2, 2017.

Born on Feb. 28, 1969, in Allentown, she was the daughter of Barbara J. (Gutekunst) Smith of Schnecksville, and Robert D. Smith Jr. and his wife, Tandy, of Coplay.

A 1987 graduate of Parkland High School and a 2008 graduate of Cedar Crest College with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, she was an oncology triage nurse at Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia.

Before that, she was an emergency nurse for Main Line Health, Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia for many years.

An avid marathon runner, she most significantly completed the New York City Marathon in 2011.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by children Marissa A. and Jacob W., both of Springfield; sisters Karen L. Lauser and her husband, Nicholas, of Slatington, Jill A. Mertz and her husband, Grant, of Germansville; half-brother Jody R.D. Smith and his wife, Keri, of Northampton; and niece Alexandria.
