Ashley Steele of Laurys Station was among a select group of students who fine-tuned their creative writing skills at Susquehanna University’s Writers Workshop July 9-15.
The Writers Workshop provides talented high school writers with the opportunity to work in intensive, small-group workshops headed by nationally recognized authors.
At the end of the week, students have the opportunity to read their work before friends and family. Their work is also published in a Writers Workshop commemorative magazine.
Steele is a student at Parkland High School in the Class of 2018 and the daughter of Jen and Don Steele of Laurys Station.
